In reply to M.J. Schiller, Romance Author. She did, didn't she, MJ? Thank you for answering our questions. Watching in blocks is a good idea. I sometimes do that simply out of necessity, but as a 'reward' of sorts is a great idea. :)

In reply to M.J. Schiller, Romance Author. lol M.J. about the Nicholas Sparks. I hadn't read the book, but watched the movie for that book not too long ago and wasn't thrilled about that ending either. I was all "what-the-what?!" Then I remembered who wrote the story and it made sense (and I had to go get the tissues- of course!)

Maureen- you did a great job of making this post fresh and interesting! Ladies, to answer your fun questions- TV~Supernatural, Arrow, and Once Upon A Time, but I don’t watch them each week. I watch in blocks after a project is completed and before I’ve started the next project. Favorite book~still gotta say TALE OF TWO CITIES, but more recent works would be anything from RT Wolfe, Nora Roberts, or Kate Larkin (but she’s not published yet so that’s a little tease for you. She’s awesome!) Endings~I don’t find bad endings in books as much as film, but I don’t like it when someone robs me of my happy ending. In fact, I’ve been known to get violent when that happens. I also don’t like “hokey” endings, like when a character that’s been in the story all along ends up being a ghost at the end (ahem, Nicholas Sparks). This might be an idea I’d love if it was done right, (I’m thinking now of Toni Morrison’s BELOVED). I have this series on my Kindle and can’t wait for the opportunity to read them!

Thanks so much for hosting us here today!!! I tell myself watching favorite TV shows is research–polotting, characters, etc. 🙂 I took a lot of inspiration for this story from the last two seasons of “Downton Abbey”
