At the same time, this made me a good listener, with an ear for dialogue. But I’ve noticed as an adult, I’ve regressed into the ‘interruption’ mode when with another chatty person.

My husband’s family is more akin to the whisper lady on Seinfeld. He’s always telling me – I’m six inches away. Shhhhhh!
Between the two of us, I’m always the more talkative. However, he’s got this dry deadpan humor that at times he comes off with stuff that will floor you!!
Thanks for sharing! OH, and I agree, the writing is one of the few ways that I can express myself without being interrupted!
