Thanks for stopping by, Alicia. I’ve transcribed other’s writing, but haven’t tried recording myself yet. Although since I have trouble reading my own writing half the time it might be a good thing! lol

I’ve actually used transcription. Speaking of losing what you record…I decided that, rather than mess with a digital recorder, I’d use voice memo on my phone. I dicated a few scenes while I was driving. I hadn’t yet transcribed them all to paper, and my phone died forever. So, even with cloud backup, I lost them!! I was disappointed, but not devastated. The scenes kinda sucked. 🙂 I’ve also done the speech to text in Word to dictate scenes. It’s all helpful. I need to get back to it, and maybe I’d acutally get some writing done.
